The Bible reminds us that we shouldn’t forsake gathering together for the sole purpose of coming together to encourage one another (Hebrews 10:25). Brian’s sole desire when ministering on a Sunday morning is to serve the body of Christ by hearing what the Spirit is saying to a local church body and releasing it by way of encouragement. These words help to give direction to the body of Christ and reveal what it is that God is doing in the lives of His people. If you’d like to see your congregation both encouraged and strengthened in this manner, we would love to serve in this way.
We do not serve a God who is mute. Rather, we serve a God who speaks and a God who wants to make us aware of His activities. If we are to know what we should be focusing on and preparing for as believers, it is imperative that we know and understand what it is that God is saying. We must be aware of the times and seasons. God has graced Brian with an ear that causes him to hear what it is that the Spirit is saying to the church at large and he enjoys sharing such insights with individual congregations. God also uses Brian to share prophetic insights with individual church leadership teams and individual members of a congregation. The greatest thing a teenager can experience is an encounter with God. It’s the encounter with a God who lives that makes the One they’ve heard about real and solidifies their faith. Brian has a strong desire for teenagers to experience God in such a way that results in deliverance, salvation, and transformation. Much of Brian’s story relates to this generation’s temptations and struggles. He has personally seen God use his story to set students free from things like eating disorders, addictions, and anxiety and lead them into an encounter with the love of Jesus. Although our greatest need as believers, the Holy Spirit is often the most misunderstood and neglected member of the Trinity. Brian believes that he is called to rid the church of the fear, division, and uncertainty that surrounds the Spirit of God through sound biblical teaching and experience. This intensive takes believers on a journey of discovering both who the Holy Spirit is and what it is He wants to do in their lives. This is one of Brian’s favorite topics to address. In May of 2019, Brian received a prompting from the Lord to begin holding youth crusades all around the country. It's Brian's desire to host events where hundreds and thousands of teenagers can both hear and encounter the good news of the Gospel, and experience the freedom and new life that is offered through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Shout is the result of that vision. These conferences provide an atmosphere for God encounters and salvation, and a place where students can discover the love of God, be set free from pain and bondage, and be empowered to live the Christian life. The Shout is almost entirely youth led, from the volunteers and ministers, to the media specialists and promoters. These conferences utilize the ideas and gifts of on-fire teenagers to reach their fellow classmates and peers with the love of Christ.
